Software Engineer

Stéphane has 20+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on API development on the JVM. After having spent more than a decade developing large scale Java enterprise applications in the geospatial, financial, or logistics sectors, he joins the core Spring engineering team in 2014.

As a member of the Spring team, Stéphane has had the privilege of working on various aspects of Spring Boot and Spring Framework, with a focus on understanding its inner workings and collaborating with the fantastic community of contributors.

    Cette présentation sera un mix de diapositives et d’exemples de code.

    Nous aborderons les fonctionnalités liées à la plateforme comme les logs structurés, le contrôle d'accès à Actuator amélioré et les nouveautés de l'observabilité.

    Il y aura également un segment dédié à la nouvelle annotation « @Fallback » dans Spring Framework et à la manière dont elle se rapporte à « @Primary », « @ConditionalOnMissingBean », aux beans candidates par défaut et aux auto-configurations en général.

    Spring a amélioré le support des tests web grâce à MockMvcTester: vous pouvez maintenant tester vos contrôleurs web avec des assertions AssertJ, sans démarrer un serveur web!

    Spring Boot 3.5 sera la dernière étape avant la version 4.0, préparant le terrain pour les mises à niveau (Maven, Gradle) et les changements d'infrastructure. Nous discuterons des efforts en cours pour les prochaines versions majeures, notamment la prise en charge de JSpecify dans les API Spring et la gestion de null dans Java.
